 Author Biography Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Kansas (minors in Creative Writing and French). One year at The American University in Paris. Graduate work - Clinical Psychology, University of Arizona. Weight loss counselor and Math and English teacher before deciding to write fiction and nonfiction full time. Karen is also a food scholar and in-home cooking instructor. She has written a literary cookbook entitled: COOKING IN LEAVES Karen lives in Colorado with her husband from Taiwan and their two sons.
